Before I was a Mom I never learned the words to a lullaby. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Drooled on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple little grin. I never sat up for hours watching a baby sleep. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom - I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. I had never known the warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.

Up and At Em!
After months of army crawling he's finally graduated to full blown crawling. He still prefers to army crawl across the laminate floors so the carpet is the best chance to catch him in the act!

No hands!
A few weeks ago he had started to walk on his own but after a few really bad falls he became skiddish. Today we got him to try again =0)
He barely takes me finger when he walks me around the house. And I mean just that, he walks ME! I have to put a video up of that as well.

Temper Temper!
They say children start throwing tantrums around 9, 10 months old. Not our little man! He had this down pat since he was 6 months old. Erik insisted we put this on the blog as well =0) You should see him stamp his feet!

Taking Steps!!!
Just unbelievable to me! He took his first steps yesterday, it was the best thing I've ever seen. Thursday I found him in his crib, he had pulled himself up from his belly, which he could never do, onto his knees. He could only pull himself up if he was already sitting up. Friday I found him standing in his crib...as if this child didn't fight sleep already!! Then Saturday he started to walk w/o assistance. Now he's like all over the place! We're like, would you give us a minute to get use to this?!?! Today, I was cleaning in the kitchen and he was in the living room. His walking toy was in my bedroom against the wall. I went looking for him because he knows where I hide the damn thing. He had pulled himself up onto it & was strolling around my bedroom!!! HOLY COW!!!
Video to come!!
